The Three Pillars for Spiritual Living

$12.99

The Three Pillars program includes four lessons featuring Soul Bridging founder Michelle Shaw as she explores the building of the Antahkarana, or bridge to the soul with author and teacher, William Meader.

Three essential practices are vital when walking the spiritual path. These include Meditation, Study, and Service. Sometimes called the Three Pillars, these three practices are the means that will lead each of us to the gate of enlightenment and its accompanying joy. When used intentionally, these three practices act to support the connection with the soul so that it can express more effectively.

Description

Join Soul Bridging Founder Michelle Shaw as she explores the Soul and its expression with Author and teacher, William Meader in The Three Pillars for Spiritual Living.

Three essential practices are vital when walking the spiritual path. These include Meditation, Study, and Service. Sometimes called the Three Pillars, these three are the means that will lead each of us to the gate of enlightenment and its accompanying joy. When used intentionally, these three practices act to support the connection with the soul so that it can express more effectively.

This module introduces these three disciplines. The practice of Meditation with Seed as a foundation for living a spiritually creative life; the role of study as an essential means of building the higher mind; and the importance of heartfelt service in support of humanity’s betterment, are all included. Topics covered in the discussion include:

Part 1: Meditation  [7:29]

  • The types of meditation are compared to understand the differences and benefit of mystical and seed thought meditation methods
  • The benefits of mystical emphasis where the lower mind is quieted so that we become passively receptive to what presents
  • Using a thought to ‘seed’ to engage the mind deliberately around a thought or intention to help gain insight into the soul’s intention

Part 2: Study [9:30]

  • The realization that the higher (abstract) mind is an instrument of the soul. Using the mind in a controlled way to facilitate wisdom
  • The lower mind focuses on specifics and tends to see difference and separateness
  • The higher mind – that which sees broader patterns and truths
  • Activities that we engage in that will help to build the higher mind
  • Blending aspects of Eastern and Western theology to advance our spiritual consciousness

Part 3: Service [5:50]

  • Service is explored and defined from a broader perspective
  • Service as a function of being rather than just an action
  • Attitude or posture of service as an Asana
  • Soul service and personality service is contrasted to identify from where acts of service arise

Part 4: Building the Antahkarana [7:07]

  • The internal communication bridge between the soul and personality – known as the Antahkarana or Rainbow bridge is introduced
  • How the Antahkarana is built
  • The threads or fabric of the bridge including the consciousness thread, the life thread, and the creative thread
  • The way that meditation, study, and service contribute to the actual structure of the bridge to the soul
  • Summary of the program
