Astrology Basics is a 6-lesson introduction to the complex world of astrology. It is suitable for beginners, new students, or anyone with a general interest in the topic. The program will take you through the basics while offering an entre into the unique language of this ancient art, in an easy-to-understand and visual format. A different topic is presented in each lesson, each one building on the previous lesson. At the end of the series you will have a foundational understanding of the components of a horoscope and some basic tools to synthesize the information.

Course Outline

Lesson 1 –      Overview of the series including structure, agenda, key learning points

Lesson 2 –       Introduction and the Planets: 8 planets, 2 luminaries (sun and moon), glyphs, meanings, and key words

Lesson 3 –      The Signs: 12 Astrological signs, their glyphs and meanings, key words, and rulership

Lesson 4 –      Polarity, Elements, and Modes: Meaning, Signs, and Planets, balances and weighting

Lesson 5 –       The Houses: 12 houses, their meanings and natural rulership

Lesson 6 –      Chart Structure and Aspects: Areas of the Chart, Ptolomaic Aspects

Lesson 7 –      Putting it all together: Basic interpretation, Using the key elements reviewed in the series.

The Astrology Basics webinar program helps students build an understanding of the foundations of Astrology. Classes include recorded session, copies of powerpoint presentation content and all handouts used during the program.

How long is each class?

Each lesson runs for 60-90 minutes and will provide for individual participant chart discussion.

What if I miss a class?

All sessions are recorded and available to attendees through Soul Bridging’s Online Education Program. The recordings will remain available indefinitely.

Is this traditional Astrology or soul-based Astrology?

This program is based on traditional astrology. At the end of the series students have a foundational understanding of the terms and components of a horoscope, plus the basic tools to apply the information to their everyday life.
