The Seven Rays and Spiritual Transformation
Creation is the One Life seeking to express itself through form. Religious traditions all over the world and throughout human evolution have described the energy behind creation by many different names. While some traditions refer to the force of creation as God, others refer to it as Allah, Brahman, Krishna, YHWH, or simply, the One Life. There are many other names as well, but whatever name is used for this divine creative expression into form, its ultimate source is the same.
As part of the spiritual journey, each of us begins to seek and awaken consciously. We experience our connection to the energy of the divine within us, and through that, we connect to our higher spiritual identity.
It is our most profound purpose as human beings to manifest our spiritual blueprint or archetype. We become conscious of our unique pattern of energies, and` live true to that pattern. As a result, we grow into who and what we already are in essence. Our greatest joy and our most significant spiritual responsibility are to become who we are, to fully express our spiritual pattern and spiritual identity. Rayology is a tool to help us realize this.
The Science of the Seven Rays
The Seven Rays can best be grasped by understanding light. Pure white light contains all of the colors comprising in the visible light spectrum. When white light passes through a prism, the prism bends the stream of pure white light and acts as a filter for the vibration, or frequency, of the light ray. As light exits the prism, the colors that exist within the white light ‘sort’ into their constituent rays or colors.

In this same way, creation Itself expresses through these same seven streams of divine energy. These streams, or rays, are named to express the particular quality (vibration) that they transmit and exhibit.
The Significance of Seven
The number seven is profoundly significant in human understanding. It is spiritually meaningful because it features prominently in how we perceive the structure of the world. It is a primary number, so it is not divisible by anything but itself. There are seven days of the week and seven notes in the musical scale (‘Do’ is repeated twice at a different octave).
Seven’s spiritual significance is emphasized in the seven sacraments of Christianity, ancient references of the Seven Spirits Before the Throne, the seven archangels, seven virtues, and seven sins. There are seven chakras in our physical energy system.
The Rays also express through color and sound. The seven colors and sounds of the rays provide for a more intuitive approach to understanding. For instance, Ray 7 corresponds to the note of G and the color violet, depending upon the octave played. So, sound and color are also measurable in terms of their vibratory capacity.

Rayology as a Life Tool
The science of Rayology can help us to more deeply understand ourselves, and others, in a practical way. We express in our very being-ness our connection to the ray(s) we manifest in our lives. As distinct, unique, and individual, we are understood and identified by the particular qualities, inherent traits, and tendencies, strengths and weaknesses we express.
Each ray has its distinct quality, energy, and vibration. The ray qualifies the form that expresses its power. For instance, ray expression distinguishes a rose from a cabbage.
We experience the quality or energy of a ray when we walk into a red room. Its power feels warm and stimulating. Contrast that to walking into a blue room. It will feel much fresher and calmer. There is definitely a qualitative difference. This difference is the quality or vibration of a ray. Just as we experience the differing energy of a room’s color, we experience the different expression of the rays of others we live and work with.
By appreciating ourselves in terms of our Ray expression and being able to perceive it in others, we open the way to deeper understanding and collaboration. It can help us understand our strengths, weaknesses and how we compliment those we live and work with. Through an understanding of the expression of Rayology, we can improve our lives at home, in class, at work, in business, and almost any relationship.
