The day of the full moon is sometimes called the day of contact. On this day it is valuable to hold ourselves with inner silence, harmony, and listening. Meditation and alignment are especially beneficial during this time.
By intentionally connecting with others during the full moon, we create a powerful field of shared purpose. As a result, spiritual energies pour through us and throughout all life on the planet. Consequently, we benefit individually, but our efforts also support and serve the whole of humanity and the earth.
At the exact moment of the full moon, whatever time it occurs, it is helpful to be aware of and acknowledge the moment of the full moon. This time is sometimes referred to as the moment of contact. When we hold ourselves in this way, we make ourselves a receptacle for light and energies that are descending through the moons reflected sunlight.
Throughout the rest of the day of the full moon, it is helpful to hold an awareness of connection with the greater life. By doing this, we can be more powerfully influenced by the spiritual light, love, and power that is so potent at this time.
The two days following the full moon are called the days of assimilation, distribution, and radiation. The energies of the full moon can be powerful and transformative. Because of this, they can also be stimulating and reshaping for us. As a result, it is essential that we give the energies our attention so that they can be integrated into our physical, emotional and mental bodies.
So, what can we expect? We might recognize that meditation on these days bring us new inspirations and insights as to how we can better serve others. As we meditate, we sense or experience a revelation or awareness of how we can more effectively radiate our light out into the world.

Full Moon Meditation: Hunter’s Moon 2019
During the full moon during Libra, the moon sits opposite in the sign of Aries. These lunar oppositions always ask for equilibrium and balance and Libra is the sign of equilibrium.
Full Moon in Virgo 2019
This month the full moon in Virgo involves the Virgo/Pisces axis. The perfectionistic Virgo meets the mystical hippy, Pisces. A gross generalization to be sure, however, there is much truth in that description.
Leo Full Moon 2019
The journey through Leo requires the courage and devotion of the Lion, one of the symbols of Leo. We are asked to embody nothing less than the spark of divinity that we are. Once that recognition takes place and we feel our sacredness, we feel the connection to our heart, we become aware of the gifts we have to share with the world.
Full Moon in Cancer and Lunar Eclipse 2019
The Sun entered the sign of Cancer on June 21, the day of the summer solstice. At the time of the full moon on July 16, we also have a partial lunar eclipse at 11:55 am (PDT). The exact moment of the full moon occurs a few hours later at 2:38 pm. Any time we refer to “lunar” we are talking about the emotional body. It’s the moon, the past, the Mother principle. The moon stimulates our sensitivities and as it controls the tides in the oceans it also impacts our mood swings, our feeling nature. We are called then to be mindful
Gemini Full Moon Meditation 2019
The exact moment of this month’s full moon in the is 1:31 am (PDT) on June 17th. This is the last of the Three Spring Festivals, but before we explain the significance of that important event let us talk for a few minutes about the specific energies that are impacting us at this full moon. The Sun is now in the sign of Gemini, and the moon is in the opposite sign of Sagittarius. The planet Jupiter is currently in the sign of Sagittarius sitting right next to the moon at this full moon period. And Jupiter is one of the ruling signs of Sagittarius, so this month we have an abundance of these three energies to deal with. (the moon, Jupiter, and Sagittarius) In addition, the Sun is opposite these three.
