Aquarius - Leo Full Moon Feb 8, 2020 @ 11:33 pm Pacific Time
The sun entered the sign of Aquarius on January 20th
At the time of the full moon, on February 8, (11:33pm PST) Leo will be exactly opposite Aquarius. The Aquarian energy is particularly significant at this time in our history because we are entering two astrological cycles involving that sign. During these cycles, one lasting 2,160 years and the other, 26,000 years, we will see major changes in the very fabric of our collective lives. The noted astrologer, Phillip Lindsey (www.esotericastrologer.org) has described these changes as unifications or syntheses that will develop in several areas:
1.One global currency and financial system which will allow for a universal management of the Earth’s resources.
- One world religion which will recognize that the diversity of religious thought all has a common origin. This new religion, which will not be a religion in the traditional sense, will recognize universal spiritual laws.
- One world political system will emerge as nations mature. Co-operation, altruism and kindness will be the keynote for the age.
- Many advances in science, music, art, and technology.
These insights into our future give us much reason to be hopeful
The mantram for Aquarius is “Water of life am I, poured forth for thirsty humanity.” Last month we climbed the mountain of Capricorn. We metaphorically let the energy of our spiritual aspiration carry us to the mountaintop where we were bathed in the light of transformation. Now, in Aquarius we are asked to descend from the mountain and pour forth the waters of light and life into the world, to share our gifts, to distribute and radiate our light. Aquarius is a distributive sign. It rules the circulatory system. It’s opposite sign, Leo, rules the heart. So symbolically we connect to our hearts, to the heart of love and we circulate that outward wherever we go. The keynote for this energy must be harmlessness.
One further note on the age of Aquarius
We will be more closely aligned with the angelic realms. Conscious contact will be possible, and we will learn to cooperate on a deeper level with this devic kingdom. We can begin to cultivate this closer connection by calling on them. We can invoke their healing power in our lives. We can communicate our willingness to work in partnership with them.
Let Us Prepare Ourselves for Meditation
Let us begin by taking a few deep, cleansing breaths. Begin to feel the body let go, into a deep feeling of relaxation. Gently be aware of any places of constriction or tightness in the body and breath light into those areas, giving them permission to loosen and release.
Now imagine, in your mind’s eye, a ball of radiant light right above your head. This is the light of your Soul, your Higher Self. It contains all that is of the highest in you. Now imagine that this ball of light is positioned right in front of your abdomen. See it there as clearly as you can. Now imagine as you inhale that the ball of light, the light of your Soul, is traveling up your body to the top of your head. As you exhale the ball of light travels down your spinal column into the earth. So, inhale, up to the head, exhales down the spinal column. Feel the alignment that takes place as the energy of your Soul travels around your body.
Now, imagine the color, lavender. This is the color of Aquarius. It brings our hearts and minds into cooperative relationship. It blends our heart and mind. Rest, for a moment, in this energy of peaceful connection. Now see this soft lavender color healing and relaxing your entire nature. Allow it to create a tenderness, openness, and receptivity within you.
From this place of receptivity, I would like you to invoke the angels that work with you. Each of us has a beautiful solar angel that has been with us for eons of time. Invoke her energy now and ask her to be particularly close to you this month. Ask her to help you hold that openness and receptivity to the energies coming in. Ask her to keep alive in you the vision of a new humanity, bathed in the light of unity and equality and right human relationships. Thank her for her presence in your life. Take a few minutes now to really allow that vision to manifest in your imagination.
What would this new world, this new humanity really look like? See it in as much detail as you can. We will ponder this for the next few minutes. Now let, us together, envision all races, religions, nations, and peoples everywhere standing hand to hand around our world. The Age of Aquarius cometh. Imbue that thoughtform with hope, inspiration, joy, peace, beauty, and optimism.
Feel those energies go out from you to permeate the earth. We have now created a thoughtform of a world at peace, in harmony, we have energized it with our hopes and aspirations, now we must stand back, a bit, and release any attachment we might have to the timing of all of this. Put that gently into the hands of the Great Ones.
As our last step, let us recognize again these Aquarian energies of universality, inclusivity and brotherhood. Feel these energies flow through you now, opening your heart and mind wider and expanding your sense of self. May these divine qualities pour forth from each of us as a healing balm to our troubled world. May we be the “water of life” that is poured forth to a thirsty humanity.
