Mindful Heart Astrology – Aries
Part of the Aries strength is optimism and energy to drive forward through any obstacle. When you notice a small flower growing up through a crack in the concrete, that is symbolic of Aries drive and determination.
Mindful Heart Astrology ~ Manifesting Pisces
When one thinks of Albert Einstein often the first thing that comes to mind is either his scientific brilliance, or the crazy hairstyle that has made his image so recognizable. However, consistent with his Pisces Sun, there was a lot more to this extraordinary individual than one might guess. Just below the surface of his seemingly eccentric exterior was a compassionate humanitarian and civil rights activist.Albert EinsteinBorn on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany, Einstein was arguably the most influential physicist of the 20th century.
Mindful Heart Astrology: Pisces
Pisces signifies the end of a phase and synthesizes the characteristics of the preceding eleven signs. As a water sign, Pisces has an emotional or strong feeling quality to it. This sensitivity can show up in one of two ways. There are those who keep a great deal hidden inside, perhaps focused on their inner journey or intent on maintaining their privacy. These folks are often perceived as shy and reticent since, for them, things percolate and are reflected upon below the surface. Yet there are others ...
Mindful Heart Astrology – Aquarius Imagines
Aquarius is a sign that frequently suggests something “future oriented” or visionary, perhaps even idealistic. I’ve often wondered whether people like John Lennon are actually a little ahead of their time. They seem to think and act differently from the masses, and stand out as being unusual or rebellious. This quality is so firmly rooted in some people that they have very little concern about acceptance. Their beliefs are so deep that their reality, or vision of what could be, is not a question for them. They simply have the need...
Mindful Heart Astrology: Aquarius
Our 11th sign of the Zodiac is Aquarius, the Water-Bearer. The third of our Air signs, Aquarius is often mistakenly referred to as a water sign. The glyph itself appears as two horizontal wavy lines, one on top of the other. The popular interpretation indicates it represents two waves of water. However, as with many things in Astrology, there is always a deeper or secondary meaning. It has also been explained as
Mindful Heart Astrology ~ Turning Resolutions into Reality
The beginning of each new calendar year is aligned with the sign of Capricorn. It is during this time when millions of people set resolutions to which they are fully committed…at least for a while. However, relatively few of us actually achieve what we set out to do.

Mindful Heart Astrology ~ A Life Lived with Gusto!
When I think of Sagittarius I can’t help but envision a magnificent stallion galloping full out across the prairies, the rider full of energy, enthusiasm and optimism, destined towards his next adventure. Our mythological centaur, represented by half man and half horse, visually springs to life with rider and horse dashing forward, seemingly as one.
Mindful Heart Astrology: Sagittarius
Our ninth sign in the zodiac is Sagittarius, the sign of the Archer. This is the half human and half horse centaur of mythology. He is represented by the glyph of bow and arrow, reflecting Sagittarius is brave and adventurous, always on the move. This is a forward looking and vision oriented sign than doesn’t tend to dwell on the past. In general, Sagittarians are generous, outgoing, optimistic, and have a great sense of humor. They love to travel and enjoy the company of other people, with the chance to learn different perspectives. Open minded and curious, Sagittarius is a great explorer often delving curiously into different cultures and philosophies.
Mindful Heart Astrology – Pluto
As the ruler of Scorpio, this is an ideal time to introduce the planet Pluto. Since I began my study of Astrology I have heard a great deal about this planet, including warnings about its power from well-meaning Astrologers. “His energy is not to be ignored”, and he “is truly a force that commands respect”, are phrases that I have come to understand and appreciate. Recently, I attended a conference where discussions of Pluto factored large, mainly as a result of upcoming transits relative to the Chart of the USA, amplified as a result of events surrounding the recent election and its results. I believe those of us in the Astrological community will continue to observe the effects of this powerful energy and discuss the implications for many years to come.
Mindful Heart Astrology: Scorpio
Scorpio is the eighth sign of the zodiac. Represented by a glyph which is not unlike the letter “M” with a pointed tail, reminding us there is always the potential of action or a sting with this sign. Our Scorpion is very much about depth, intensity and extremes. Strong-willed, passionate and persistent, there is always more to a Scorpio than meets the eye.
Mindful Heart Astrology ~ Right Human Relationships
The sign of Libra is associated with harmony, balance, justice, partnership, and right human relationships. Personally, I am a Libra Sun with Venus also in Libra (its natural ruler), so for me everything is about Relationship. Imagine my dismay at news stories over the past few years which seem to underscore a general lack of understanding for the importance of cooperation and collaboration within the greater collective.
