Inspiration – Quiet the Mind
In the frenzy of interactions with stuff and with others, it’s hard to have a feeling of oneness with the world. Surprisingly it’s in stillness that oneness is more easily sensed.
The Cadent Houses (3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th), represent something more transitory and a shift or transition from one thing to another or a progression through a phase of life.
Whenever the Sun enters the sign of Sagittarius, I take a deep breath. Ahhhh, it feels liberating and free. After the dark underworld of Scorpio, we arise into a new dawn with vision and hope. We have cleared away whatever the darkness revealed, and we stand poised and ready to embody a higher purpose. Sagittarius offers us the opportunity to reclaim the larger perspective, the higher aspiration.
What is enough for you to be truly grateful?
The Succedent Houses of the Horoscope are the second category or classification of Houses in the chart. Immediately following the angular Houses, Succedent Houses are the 2nd, 5th, 8th and 11th, and traditionally astrologers have not considered them to be as powerful as their predecessors. However, in practical application it seems more accurate to suggest that the Succedent Houses reflect areas of life where maintaining a certain degree of consistency and steadiness is desirable. In this way the Succedent Houses reflect something of the nature of the Fixed modality.
Today I Rise Where are you? Little girl with broken wings but full of hope Where are you? Wise woman covered in wounds Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Today is the day I will not sit still and give in anymore Today, I rise I am bruised, but I will get up and walk again Today, I rise
Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world. All things break. And all things can be mended. Not with time, as they say, but with intention. So go. Love intentionally, extravagently, unconditionally. The broken world awaits in darkness for the light that is in you.
