The Reality

Living your purpose isn’t always smooth sailing, despite what so many blog posts and videos out there seem to promise. Living your purpose isn’t as flowing, light, and fun as everyone says – at least not all the time.

No, fun aside, living your purpose can be bloody hard at times. Sticky, roller coastery, exhausting. Why?

Because it still means you’ll need to live life, manage your thoughts, patterns, triggers, belief systems, and the way you set up and run your business and relationships – just the same as when you’re not living it.

You’ll still need sleep, for example, and this is a big one. Once you’re on purpose, you feel so excited, that you wished you could keep going on forever! However, your health will remind you sooner rather than later, which I have experienced numerous times throughout my life.  My clients show me that this is a common pattern of practitioners and Change Makers. They get so passionate about helping their tribe, that they start burning out themselves.

Alignment is Key

Whilst living your purpose, you’ll still have to manage your choices, live your values aaaand, last but certainly not least, you need to live IN ALIGNMENT to experience ease and flow. In my opinion, living in alignment happens when you blend connection within, listening within, living your purpose and living congruently with your values. And when you live in alignment, you’re going to experience flow.

And flow brings joy, ease, feeling on track, opportunities popping up out of nowhere, .. and fun! Isn’t that what we all crave??!
