Scorpio New Moon – The Warrior, Expansion, Death and Rebirth

By |2019-05-10T01:20:45+00:00November 16th, 2017|New Moon|

This is the path of the evolved Warrior. The mantram for Scorpio is, “Warrior am I and from the battle I emerge triumphant.” We are asked to do battle with our lower selves, our ego, the unredeemed parts of ourselves that usually hang out in the underworld. Once these unfinished parts of ourselves are recognized, accepted and held in the cauldron of a loving heart, transformation occurs. And this is the Scorpio journey. We are tested, we have trials, but we emerge triumphant.

This configuration can inspire an evolutionary leap of consciousness in the area of our personal relationships. Uranus represents the invitation to expand our minds beyond our conditioning and any preconceived ideas of what is possible.

Libra Full Moon – Relief in the Opposite

By |2019-05-10T03:08:08+00:00October 4th, 2017|Full Moon Meditation|

This month the Sun is in Libra and the moon is in its opposite sign, Aries. We label it as the opposite sign because at the moment of the full moon the sun and moon sit exactly opposite one another in the sky. Libra is the sign of relationship, beauty, harmony, peace and equilibrium. Aries is all about independence, the self, action and fire. This full moon, in particular can feed the fires of anger if we cannot monitor our emotions in a healthy way. The energies are volatile and possibly explosive and destructive.

New moons constitute an in-breath. It’s a time to pause and reflect on where we are and where we wish to be.  We set intentions, we ponder on what we wish to create, develop, make manifest.  We consider any guidance we may have received at the full moon and make plans to act on what needs to come forth. At the time of a new moon the moon and sun sit right next to each other in the sky and they are always in the same sign.

By |2019-05-10T01:21:02+00:00August 20th, 2017|New Moon|

Eclipses are known as evolutionary gateways, giving us the opportunity to grow up in new ways, to wipe clean the slate of old patterns, and to emerge somewhere different than when we entered. They also signify that something has completed itself, something is ending to make way for the new. To take advantage of these powerful energies we need to examine what changes may be needed in our lives. We are dealing with an aspect, Sun trine Uranus, which will offer us the support that we need to adjust to the changes that may occur in our lives or on our planet. Even though this is a harmonious aspect, with Uranus in the picture we must be prepared for the unexpected, the explosive, the unpredictable change.

Leo is only too willing to step on the stage and create something new as long as he is the star of the show.
